This Blog is mainly about travel. But it also about overcoming adversities in life and achieving success- thus the name "Per Ardua Ad Astra"- through adversity through the stars! “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” – St. Augustine Although its largely a retrospective blog on musings from my just past trip in Europe and Africa, I will also write about my travels at home, the unspoken, beautiful parts of my everyday life. This part of my life is largely unsung, but requires worthy attention. Because it is the everyday experiences which allow you to prepare for those more rare encounters. Someone once said that a traveller without observation is like a butterfly without wings, I say that one who goes through life without observing the everyday miracles, misses way too much. I have entitled this hello world because the world is my oyster. So here is to travel, whether its jet setting around the world or travelling to places unknown from the comfort of my windowsill, musing, writing, living, travel i will. Travel captivates, it is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and bias and unleashes the minds and quenches the human desire the see, live and learn. “You have brains in your head.
